MapleBrook Invitational Soccer Tournament

May 30 – June 1, 2008

On behalf of the MapleBrook Soccer Association Board of Directors, Tournament Committee and volunteers, we would like to invite you to join us for the 21st Annual MapleBrook Invitational Soccer Tournament, being held the weekend of May 30 through June 1, 2008. We will be playing at locations throughout Maple Grove and Brooklyn Park.

This tournament invitation is open to all MYSA traveling teams, U9 through U17, including MYSA approved tournament-only teams. Each team will be scheduled for a minimum of three games. U11-U17 teams may advance to playoffs; U9/U10 will be non-competitive. MYSA teams must immediately reschedule any league games that could potentially conflict with any tournament game.

Some highlights for 2008:

  • Club Multi-Team Discounts
    • 10-14 Teams registered and paid full price – The club will receive a rebate of $200
    • 15-19 Teams registered and paid full price – The club will receive a rebate of $500
    • 20+ Teams registered and paid full price – The club will receive a rebate of $1000
  • Good Sportsmanship Pins
    • MapleBrook Ambassadors and Referees will be handing out limited edition 2008 MapleBrook Tournament Pins throughout the weekend to players and parents when they see examples of good sportsmanship.

  • Visit Minneapolis North - Official lodging partner of the MapleBrook Soccer Association
    • Teams traveling more than 110 miles will receive a $100 discount at time of registration
    • Blocks of hotel rooms with special rates will be available for tournament teams
    • Each team will receive a welcome kit at the time of registration with gifts and coupons for local shops and restaurants

  • 2-Time Defending USA CUP champions MapleBrook U19 Boys Premier team match
    • The MapleBrook U19 Boys Premier team will the Champlin/Dayton U17 Premier team on Saturday night at 7:00 pm at the Maple Grove Junior High Field.
