Are the players listed in the order they were ranked?

No, the players on each team are sorted by their Tryout Number.  

What if there is no coach listed for my team? 

For some teams, there may not be a coach listed at the time of tryout result posting.  This is not unusual, so don’t be alarmed.  After the team formation process is completed, the Director of Soccer Operations and the Age Group Coordinators will look for candidates to fill vacant coaching positions.  Depending on the age group and playing level, these may be parents, other volunteers, or paid coaches.  If you would like to coach, or know of a coach, please contact Rick Sexton (rsexton@maplebrooksoccer.com). 

What if my team does not have a full roster? 

First, please understand that many teams will not be filled to the MYSA maximum roster size.   MYSA allows roster maximums of 12 players (U9-U10),14 players (U11-U12) and 18 players (U13 and older).  However, these are maximums; many coaches prefer smaller rosters (e.g. more playing time for players). 

If your team needs additional players, MapleBrook does allow late registrants to be placed on teams in accordance with our policies.  This is very common, and we always receive many new registrations throughout the fall and winter.

What happens next? 

Team meetings are often held in the fall.  You can expect to be contacted by your coach or team manager with more information soon.
