Kalvan is in his eighth season of coaching with MapleBrook. He previously spent five fall seasons as an assistant coach for Osseo High School Boys Soccer and is currently in his first season as an assistant coach with the Hamline University Men’s Soccer program.
Josh Soukup

Josh has been coaching club and high school soccer since 2002 and has been a MapleBrook Soccer Club coach since 2020. He has served as the Head Coach of the Buffalo High School Girls Varsity Soccer team since 2020 and holds a USSF D License. Josh is also a board member of the Minnesota State High School Soccer Coaches Association, a role he began in 2025. He was a four-year collegiate starter.

Igor brings extensive coaching experience across the professional, collegiate, high school, and club levels. He coached in the UPSL and WPSL from 2020–2023 and has led club programs at multiple levels, including Plymouth Soccer Association (2005–2012), MN Eclipse/MapleBrook Soccer Association (2012–2021), Minnesota Thunder Academy (2021–2024), and MN Select Futsal Academy, where he has coached since 2022.
His background also includes serving as a varsity assistant coach at Armstrong High School from 2008–2009 and coaching both men’s and women’s collegiate programs at the University of Wisconsin–Superior from 2003–2004. He currently coaches collegiate soccer with the Division I women’s program at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul. As a player, Igor competed at the professional, semi-professional, and collegiate levels.
